Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provided exactly what we needed - clean, cozy, and with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable with a sweet gesture of complimentary treats, but the location could have been closer to amenities. Service was top-notch, making our stay truly enjoyable. The dining experience was fantastic, exceeding our expectations.
The hotel rooms could do with a bit of updating but are decorated with style and luxury, perfect for our anniversary getaway. The location, surrounded by lush vegetation and vast space, offers a serene retreat away from the busy Johannesburg life. The service, despite a minor inconvenience during a function setup, was delivered by the friendliest staff who made our stay truly enjoyable. The dining experience in the large barn-like structure of Chef's Doma was fabulous, offering everything we could wish for and more.
The hotel is overwhelmed by bus tourists desperate to grab seats and food by 8 am, with a sewerage stench in one room and cockroaches in another, lacking value for money. The service is willing but made us feel 'in the way. '
